President Donald Trump has finally worn a black mask during visiting Walter Reed’s national military medical center hospital in Maryland. The institute requires mask-wearing entry so that the spread of Covid-19 can be prevented. The president always abides by such requirements. Trump finally wore a mask in the hospital.
Mask-wearing has become a political issue as a portion of the president’s supporters have made wearing one a sign of accommodation to liberal resistance.
Wearing masks I am not against it but they have time and place to wear. I think when you’re in a hospital, where you’re talking to a lot of soldiers and people that, in some cases, just got off the operating tables, I think it’s a great thing to wear a mask. Trump said as he left for the hospital from White House.
But before this, Trump has reportedly told aides that wearing a mask would make him look weak and he could not bear the idea of letting the media photograph him in one.
Joe Biden criticizes President Trump for not wearing many times as he didn’t wear a mask during MemorialDay Ceremony. Brit Hume tweeted explaining why he doesn’t like to wear a mask
Wearing mask really helps to avoid spread Covid-19
The Centre for Disease Control updated its guidance to recommend widespread use of simple cloth face coverings to help prevent transmission of the virus by people who have COVID-19 but don’t know it.
Some public health groups argue that masks should be reserved for health care providers and point to the critical shortage of surgical masks and N95 masks. The CDC acknowledged this concern when it recommended cloth masks for the public and not the surgical and N95 masks needed by health care providers.
Wearing a mask is not to protect you. It is to protect others FROM you.
Which one cares about YOU??
“CDC estimates more than a third of coronavirus patients don’t have any symptoms at all, and 40% of virus transmission happens before people feel sick.”
